Hagerstown Police respond to incidents

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

Oct. 21

  • A weapons violation was reported in the 600 block of Washington Avenue.
  • Two bicycles were reported stolen on Washington Avenue.
  • An individual was arrested following a controlled dangerous substance violation in City Park.
  • A burglary was reported at an apartment in the 1700 block of Edgewood Hill Circle.
  • An assault was reported in the 50 block of Summit Avenue.
  • An arrest was made following a trespassing at city fairgrounds.

Oct. 22

  • A person was charged following a crash in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Wakefield Road.
  • An arrest was made following a disturbance in the 800 block of Lanvale Street.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 600 block of North Mulberry Street.
  • A theft was reported at the CVS store on North Cannon Avenue.
  • An arrest was made following a theft at the Sheetz store at 301 E. Washington St.
  • A domestic violence referral was made in the 500 block of West Washington Street.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 200 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at Legends on the Square at 43 S. Potomac St.

  • An arrest was made following a controlled dangerous substance violation in the 700 block of South Potomac Street.
  • A purse was lost at Bulls and Bears at 38 S. Potomac St.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Guilford Avenue.
  • A theft of a purse was reported at the Walmart on Garland Groh Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested in a home invasion at an apartment in the 200 block of North Locust Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of Cramer’s Alley.
  • Tires were flattened on a vehicle in the 800 block of West Washington Street.
  • An individual was arrested in connection with controlled dangerous substance violations in the 100 block of North Mulberry Street.

Oct. 24

  • A burglary was reported at the West End Little League.
  • Telephone harassment was reported in the 30 block of West Side Avenue.
  • Damage was reported at the Kline Association at 23 East Lee Street.
  • A trespassing incident was reported on South Cannon Avenue.
  • Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Georgia Avenue.
  • A burglary involving a safe was reported at Advance Towing at 500 Frederick Street.
  • A theft of metal was reported at Turning Point at 340 North Potomac St.
  • A theft of medication was reported in the 100 block of Summit Avenue.

Oct. 25

  • An altercation was reported on a school bus at Washington and Jonathan streets.
  • A burglary involving medication was reported in the 30 block of South Prospect Street.
  • A hit and run vehicle crash was reported at 1101 Dual Highway.
  • A hit and run vehicle crash was reported at Dual Highway and Cleveland Avenue.
  • Controlled dangerous substances were confiscated in the 200 block of East Franklin Street.
  • A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Mulberry Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 400 block of Mitchell Avenue.
  • A disorderly individual was arrested at Mt. Aetna Road and Eastern Boulevard.

Oct. 26

  • A burglary was reported in the 500 block of North Mulberry Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 400 block of Cook Street.
  • A burglary involving a Mossburg shotgun was reported in the 400 block of West Antietam Street.

Oct. 27

  • A red Timmons moped with black wheels and a loud exhaust was reported stolen in the 600 block of West Washington Street.
  • An attempted suicide was reported in the 100 block of South Cannon Avenue.
  • Vandalism was reported in the 1000 block of Security Road.
Oct. 28
  • A vehicle was spray-painted in the 50 block of Wayside Avenue.
  • A 2003 BMW with a suspended registration was towed on East Memorial Boulevard.
  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of North Cannon Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Mulberry Avenue. An arrest was made.
  • A theft was reported at the Walmart on Garland Groh Boulevard. Juveniles were charged.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the unit block of West Side Avenue.
  • An attended death was reported in the first block of Leroy Street.
