Boy Scout Troop 103 visits amphibious base in Norfolk

Boy Scout Troop 103 of Hagerstown recently visited Little Creek Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Va.

The troop visited Assault Craft Unit 4. The Scouts were shown a video about the history of the assault craft from World War II to the present. The Scouts then were allowed to board one of the craft. The craft is known as a LACK, or Landing Craft Air Cushion.
