William Lewis Smoot of Stephens City, Va., passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at his daughter's home in Charles Town, W.Va. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer and Norton Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va., The service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mission Tabernacle Holiness Church, Harpers Ferry.
