- Door-to-door trick-or-treating in the residential neighborhoods is still scheduled for Saturday night from 6 to 8 p.m. as planned. If citizens wish to entertain Halloween visitors, they should turn on an outside light. Parents should avoid houses that do not have visible lights on outside.
- The downtown Brunswick Main Street Halloween Party is rescheduled to Monday night. That includes the Halloween crafts tent, costume parade, music, Thriller dance, and Very Haunted Hayride.

Speedway's Octoberfest postponed
This weekend's Hagerstown Speedway Octoberfest is postponed to November 12 and 13.
Ghosts of Green Hill event rescheduled
SHARPSBURG — Because of the rain and snow forecast for Saturday, Oct. 29, Green Hill Farm has announced that the Ghosts of Green Hill event is rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5.
Period attire or Halloween costumes are encouraged. A Civil War reenactment will take place at dusk and ensue across the field. A local storyteller will recount area lore and hauntings by the bonfire. After dark, teams of Belgian draft horses will pull wagon tours through the south fields.
The Whiskey Rebellion, a newgrass band, will perform.
There will be concession foods, beer and wine service, local artisans, live music and lots to see and do. Camping is welcome. Admission is $10 and those younger than 10 are free.
No outside alcohol permitted. No dogs allowed.
