Help needed to find person who stole money from hotel

Pennsylvania State Police are seeking the public's help to find the person who stole $900 earlier this week from a hotel in Antrim Township.

The incident happened between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Comfort Inn at 50 Pine Drive, according to a state police news release.

34 dozen golf balls stolen from outside residence

A Guilford Township, Pa., resident told Pennsylvania State Police that about 34 dozen golf balls were stolen from outside his residence last week.

The thefts occurred Oct. 21 or 22 in the 1400 block of Springview Circle, according to a state police news release.

Franklin Co. Emergency Services reports incidents

The following incidents were reported Friday by Franklin County Emergency Services:


  • At 7:05 a.m., a commercial fire alarm in the first block of South Second Street in Chambersburg.
  • At 7:36 a.m., a vehicle fire at the 4-mile marker on Interstate 81.
