1. Happy Halloween

Monday is trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m. at several areas towns and one shopping center: Chambersburg, Pa.; Hagerstown; Hagerstown Premium Outlets;  Hancock; Martinsburg, W.Va.; Shepherdstown, W.Va., Smithsburg and Willliamsport.


2. Seven strong

Spectrum Seven, consisting of local artists Eliane Ambrose, Donna Bingaman, Marguerite Cyr, Becky Dietrich, Donna Mason, Elisabet Stacy-Hurley and Marjorie Tressler, will display original works. Show opens Friday, Nov. 4. Reception, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6. Mansion House Art Gallery, 501 Highland Way, City Park, Hagerstown. Exhibit continues through November. Free. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Call 301-797-6813.


3. All that jazz

Shepherd Jazz ensembles, lab band and jazz combos will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Shepherd University's Frank Center, off University Drive, Shepherdstown, W.Va. $10; $5 students, faculty, staff; free for Shepherd students and Friends of Music MAC cardholders. 4. Collecting toys for tots

Toys for Tots Cruise-in will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4. Music by Vaun Miles and Teddy Miller, tribute to Patsy Cline and Elvis. Bring a new toy for free admission or $3. In front of Smitty's Creamery, U.S. 11, Potomac Street, Williamsport. Call 301-573-1501.


5. Really small art

Miniature Art 2011 will open with a reception 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4. Exhibit continues through Friday, Jan. 6. Council for the Arts' gallery, Capitol Theatre Center, 159 S.
