Harold L. Roberts Sr., 61

Harold L. “Skeeter” Roberts Sr., 61, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born March 26, 1950, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Richard Roberts Sr. and Barbara K. Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Diane E. Roberts of Hagerstown; daughter, Barb Roberts; son, Harold L. Roberts Jr., son, Skylar Miller, and daughter, Kim Keefer, all of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Blake and Alyssa Baugher of Hagerstown; four sisters, Stella Rogers, Theresa Forrest and Sharon Gatrell, all of Hagerstown, and Linda Guessford of Florida; two brothers, Richard Roberts Jr. of Clear Spring and Tony Caudo of Hagerstown; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy L. Hardy; one son, Ronald E. Hardy; and two brothers, “Butch” Shifflett and Thomas Reilly Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Garden State Tanning in Williamsport for 15 years. He also loved selling balloons and novelties all his life with his family.

A memorial service will be held Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Temple Church, 147 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport, Md. There will be no viewing.
