Lane of South Potomac closed for tree trimming

The left lane of South Potomac Street is closed between West Baltimore Street and Lee Street. The lane was closed around 9 a.m.

Work crews from Antietam Tree & Turf are trimming tree branches. The branches they are trimming are on the sidewalk on the left side of the street, which is causing the left lane to be closed.

Different sections in the 200 block of the street are being closed on the left side as work crews continue to move south on the street. As of 9:45 a.m. Monday they were in front of 252 S. Potomac St.

There are no reports as to how long it the lane will be closed.
