1. Mummers time
Annual Alasatia Mummers Parade begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. The route is along North Potomac Street and South Potomac Street, downtown Hagerstown. Local floats, bands and individual costumed mummers. For ticketed seating, call 301-790-3500. For information, call 301-797-3944.
2. Dining with Dracula
Dinner with Dracula and Vampire's Ball will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Shepherdstown Men's Club, 102 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va. 3. Spooky singles
Tri-State Singles will host a Halloween dance for singles ages 21 and older from 8 to midnight Friday, Oct. 28, at Knights of Columbus, 20340 Leitersburg Pike, Hagerstown. 4. Night with Lulu
Lulu Roman and the Dixie Melody Boys will perform Saturday, Oct. 29, at First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, Pa. Roman, pictured, is known for her stint on "Hee-Haw." Deadline to register for dinner is today. Menu includes a three-meat buffet catered by Sunnyway Diner. Dinner is 6 p.m.; concert is at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $35. 5. Scaring for UNICEF
Key Club Haunted House will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at North Hagerstown High School, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Featuring children's rooms and scary rooms; face painting and snacks. Ages 5 to 12 with parents. Admission by donation to UNICEF. Email koehllor@wcboe.k12.md.us.
