Animal-themed exhibit and fundraiser wraps up Wednesday

Howard’s Art & Frames of Hagerstown is hosting an animal-themed exhibit and fundraiser today through Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Area artists of all ages painted 5-inch-by-7-inch canvases, many with animal subjects. About 140 paintings are on display; all are part of a silent auction. Proceeds benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

The public is invited to a tail-end reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The silent auction closes at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
