HAGERSTOWN — The left lane of the 100 block of West Franklin Street has been closed since 9 a.m. Thursday.
Work crews from Miller Pipeline are rehabilitating sanitary sewer lines in that location, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown.
The closure has backed up traffic in the area. Cones, barricades, message boards and other traffic control devices are in the work zone.
The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the advisory. The lane will be reopened when the work is complete.
Emergency vehicles can pass through the area while the work is being performed, according to the advisory.
