Funkstown will hold its annual Halloween parade Thursday, Oct. 27, starting at 6 p.m.
Participants are asked to line up at 5:30 p.m. behind Town Hall.
All Funkstown children are invited to participate in the parade and costume judging that takes place at American Legion Dixon-Troxell Post 211 following the parade.
Come out and watch as the main street is closed off and the parade of princesses, monsters and cowboys fills the street. Thank you to the Funkstown Legion for its continued support and donations during the Halloween season.
Trick or treat
Funkstown residents should have received notice of the trick-or-treating schedule for Halloween in their newsletters. Residents who wish to participate are reminded to turn on porch lights. Parents, please accompany smaller trick-or-treaters.
