The Safe Place Conference on Child Abuse and Family Violence is set for Oct. 14

The Safe Place Conference on Child Abuse and Family Violence is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. Topics include child exploitation investigations, physical child abuse information, bite-mark recognition, investigating child sex crimes, interviewing disabled children, and documentation caveats. Guest speakers include Dr. Tanya Hinds, Mark Hilts, Dr. David Williams, Dr. Susan Patton, Christine Carlson, and Alberta Cosner. The cost is  $30.
