An accident Saturday involving a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles shut down northbound Interstate 81 at the Halfway Boulevard exit, Maryland State Police said.
There were only minor injuries among the motorists involved in the 5:15 p.m. crash, said Sgt. S. Cain of the Hagerstown barrack.
The tractor-trailer went partially off the roadway, she said.
One lane of northbound traffic was open on the shoulder as of 8 p.m., Cain said.
Troopers still were at the scene as of 8 p.m., she said.
