New lineup of bands for Winestock 2011 announced

CLEAR SPRING — Knob Hall Winery has announced the new lineup of bands for Winestock 2011. The benefit concert will be Saturday, Oct. 8, and Sunday, Oct. 9, at the winery.

Proceeds will benefit the Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The originally scheduled Winestock was rained out in September.

Gates open at 11 a.m. on Oct. 8. Bands will include:

• 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.,  Blue Transfer Band

• 2 to 3 p.m., Adam Taylor

• 4 to 6 p.m., Backroads Blues Band

Gates also will open at 11 a.m. on Oct. 9. Sunday bands include:

• 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Skweez Play

• 3 to 5 p.m., The Rogues

• 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Mama Jama

Winestock is a two-day all-day, family-friendly event featuring music, food and crafts. Advance tickets for the event, which cost $10 (general admission) and $35 (VIP admission) are available online at www.knobhallwinery.com. One ticket is good for both days or either day.

 Anyone who purchased tickets for the original concert of The Rogues will have general admission tickets for both days and can upgrade to VIP tickets at the gate.

Refunds will be available for those who purchased tickets for the Sept. 10 event and cannot attend on Oct. 8 or 9.
