Applications for the Community Foundation of Washington County’s unrestricted granting program are being accepted.
The foundation will once again partner with the Pauline Anderson Foundation to meet current needs and initiatives within the community.
As a result of the Strategic Community Impact Plan — a collaborative assessment of community needs coordinated by the foundation and the United Way — the granting committee has established the following funding statement:
The 2012 grants will be directed to organizations and programs addressing one or more strategies within the following Strategic Community Impact Plan focus areas as outlined in the impact plan document: education; family safety and security; health and well-being; elderly; disabled population; and self-sufficiency.
A change in the grant application process now allows applicants to apply online. The application and an edited version of the impact plan document relevant to applicable programs can be found at www.cfwcmd.org.
All materials related to the grant application are due by the close of business on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Awards will be made no later than March 1, 2012.
