MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Police in Martinsburg are looking for a man who robbed the Shell gas station along Foxcroft Avenue with a small black pistol about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect is a black male between 20 and 30 years old and 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall, Martinsburg police said in a news release Thursday.

The suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt, gray jeans, black boots and a Detroit Tigers baseball hat when he robbed the clerk at gunpoint, obtaining money from the cash register, police said.

The suspect left the store at 1000 Foxcroft Ave. on foot, police said.
