Tractor fire causes $2,500 in damage

A caretaker discovered a burned tractor Monday afternoon on a property at 20101 Marble Quarry Road in Keedysville, the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office said.
The fire, which caused about $2,500 in damage, started in the engine compartment, according to a fire marshal’s office news release.
The fire marshal’s office said it wasn’t sure when the fire occurred.
The incident was being investigated.

Franklin County Emergency Services report

The following incidents were reported Tuesday by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:

  • At 2:03 p.m., a water rescue in the 1300 block of Edgar Avenue in Chambersburg.
  • At 2:14 p.m., a traffic accident in the 800 block of Norland Avenue in Chambersburg.
  • At 2:31 p.m., a traffic accident in the 1900 block of Falling Spring Road in Guilford Township.
  • At 3:25 p.m., a traffic accident in the 200 block of West Baltimore Street in Greencastle.
  • At 4:55 p.m., a traffic accident in the 300 block of North Franklin Street in Chambersburg.
  • At 8:03 p.m., a traffic accident in the 3400 block of Scotland Road in Greene Township.
  • At 9:58 p.m., a mobile home fire in the 800 block of Lincoln Way East in Fulton County.
  • At 10:11 p.m., a truck fire at the 12-mile marker on Interstate 81.
