Property worth $6,000 stolen in burglary near Hagerstown

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported that someone broke into a home near Hagerstown and stole property valued at roughly $6,000.

Deputies said the burglary occurred at about 6 p.m. Monday in the 20400 block of Cool Hollow Road, which is near the Beaver Creek Country Club.

$1,800 guitar stolen from Williamsport home

An $1,800 guitar was stolen from a home near Williamsport, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

The guitar was stolen Monday at about 10 a.m. from an apartment in the 13000 block of Brookmeade Circle.

Pipes, copper wire stolen from Williamsport firm

Pipes and copper wire were stolen from a trucking company in Williamsport, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The items were stolen at 2:30 p.m. Monday from R&L Carriers at 10120 Governor Lane Blvd., the sheriff’s office said.
