HAGERSTOWN — The eastbound "flyover" lane that connects Antietam Street to Prospect Street is currently closed to traffic.

Crews from the Hagerstown Light Department are working on overhead lights, poles and transformers along West Antietam Street, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown.

The work involves parking trucks in the "flyover" lane to work on some of the poles.

Motorists approaching the area should expect to see cones, barricades, flagmen, and other traffic control devices.

Emergency vehicles can pass through the area, according to the advisory.

The work is expected to be completed by 3:30 p.m. today.
