BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Erin Close led Berkeley Springs with 11 points and two digs in a 25-8, 25-21, 25-15 sweep of Petersburg on Wednesday.

Brooklyn McCusker added 10 points and 12 assists and Courtney Miller had eight points and two digs for the Indians.

JV: Berkeley Springs 2-0.


Everett 4, Hancock 0

EVERETT, Pa. — Shiane Pittman scored three goals on Tuesday to lead Everett to victory over Hancock (0-2).

Everett scored three goals in the first three minutes of the match to take total control in Hancock’s first game since the county tournament.

Kasi Payne scored Everett’s fourth goal.

Hancock keeper Kelsie Munch had 16 saves.

Tuscarora 5, North Hagerstown 0

FREDERICK, Md. — Erin Perry scored two goals on Tuesday to lead Tuscarora to a victory over North Hagerstown.

Keeper Emily Smith had 13 saves for the Hubs (3-3).

SHEPHERDSTOWN W.Va. — Melani Lewis and Kayla Walker had 11 kills each as Shepherd upended Seton Hill 25-17, 24-26, 25-19, 28-26.

Sara Michael had a team-high 41 assists and added nine digs for Shepherd (6-4, 1-0 West Virginia Conference). Trish Leigh had 15 digs and Lauren Gardner had five kills and 14 digs.
