Man injured when struck by vehicle

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A man struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Chambersburg was listed in fair condition Wednesday afternoon at Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, where he was flown after the accident.

Gregory A. Colbert, whose age and address were not provided by police, suffered head trauma when he was struck by a vehicle that was backing up, the Chambersburg Police Department said in a news release.

Adolfo Saldivar, 33, of 222 E. Washington St. in Chambersburg, was charged with a third-degree felony charge of accident involving death/injury — not properly licensed, according to online court records.

Saldivar also was charged with driving without a license and a second summary offense.
