Every Sunday through Thursday, the Lifestyle staff picks five events to keep on your radar. Here are the five events for Wednesday, Sept. 21:

1. A helping hand

Hagerstown Convoy of Hope will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Fairgrounds Park, 351 N. Cleveland Ave., Hagerstown. Free groceries, kids zone, health fair and hair cuts. No ID required. For more information, call 301-739-1167 or HopeforHagertown.org.



2. A modern take

"Rustica: An Exhibition of Work by Robert Patierno" will feature prints, drawings and paintings. Exhibit opens Saturday, Sept. 24. The artist will speak at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25; reception 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Exhibit continues through Sunday, Jan. 22. 3. Through the lens

"A Passion for Photography — Three Points of View" will feature photographs by Howard Clark, Larry Dean and Judy MacArthur. 4. Music and munchies

Tastes and Sounds of the Town features musical entertainment; samplings from cuisine in the area; silent and live auction featuring work by regional artists, gift items from local businesses, weekend getaways and more. Sponsored by Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle. 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 238 W. Washington St., Charles Town, W.Va. $50 per person, plus cash bar. 5. Art that's wearable

Warm and Wearable handcrafted art show. Opens 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23. Exhibit continues through Sunday, Nov. 6. Ice House Special Exhibit Gallery, 138 Independence St., Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
