The Boonsboro Cemetery Association is announcing the launch of its new website, The site provides information about the history of the cemetery, policies and all other aspects of the association.

Sandy family reunion

The J.W. Sandy Family will hold a reunion Sunday at Rohrersville United Methodist Church, beginning at 12:30 p.m. 

Joan Miller will run the meeting. Family members are asked to bring a dish to share and soft drinks for their family.

Class of 1977

The BHS Class of 1977 will hold a reunion planning meeting Sunday at 6 p.m. at Sherry Reeder Bingaman’s home in Boonsboro.

Tractor pull to be held

The Rohrersville Ruritan will hold a garden tractor pull Sunday at 1 p.m. at Rohrersville Ruritan Community Park. Proceeds will go toward the upkeep of the park.

Food will be available. Bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Yoga classes offered

Mount Nebo United Methodist Church Activities Center will host a yoga class beginning Sunday and running through Nov. 6.  

The six-class session costs $42, which is payable at the first class, or $9 each for a drop-in session.

Yard sale planned

Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Rohrersville will hold a yard sale Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.   
Country ham sandwiches, homemade soups and baked goods will be sold.  The event will be held indoors at Friendship Hall, at the intersection of Md. 67 and Locust Grove Road.  

Furniture, children’s clothing, toys and other items will be offered.

Proceeds will go to the Mount Zion Needy Family Fund.
