Ryan Byard scored on an assist by Yusuf Bodirov in double-overtime to lift North Hagerstown to a 2-1 MVAL Antietam victory over Clear Spring on Thursday.

The Hubs (4-0, 1-0) tied the game in the second half as Wesley Wilson scored on an assist from Nik Grahn. Max Ober had four saves for the Hubs.

Ralph Weaver scored the lone goal for the Blazers (1-2, 0-1) in the first half.

JV: Clear Spring, 1-0.

Goretti 4, Jefferson 0

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. — Thomas Blake had two goals and an assist for St. Maria Goretti in a shutout of Jefferson.

Kevin Proctor had a goal and an assist, Mateo Pelja had a goal, Jake Kline had an assist, Drew Katrina had five saves and John Winalski had two saves for the Gaels (5-1).

JV: Jefferson, 2-0.

Maret 3, Saint James 1

WASHINGTON — Austin Fahey scored his first career goal on an assist by Donghao Lui for Saint James in a Mid-Atlantic Conference loss to Maret.

Zuojun Gong had eight saves for the Saints.

Williamsport 4, Catoctin 0

WILLIAMSPORT — Tiago DeSouza had two goals for Williamsport in an MVAL Antietam shutout of Catoctin.

Cody Gardenhour had a goal and an assist, Nick Sauble had a goal, Tanner Meyers, Colton Myers and Chad Ridenour each had an assist and Alex Aleshire had two saves for the Wildcats (4-0, 1-0).

JV: Catoctin, 1-0.

Brunswick 5, Smithsburg 2

BRUNSWICK, Md. — Drew Demich and Joe Fawley had two goals each to lead Brunswick past Smithsburg in the MVAL Antietam.

Michael Millette had a goal and Drew Howard had four saves for the Railroaders.

Adler Garrett had two goals, Haroon Pasha and Kevin Gibson each had an assist and Nick Porter had 13 saves for the Leopards (0-3, 0-1).

JV: Brunswick, 4-0.

Berkeley Springs 3, Martinsburg 2

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Zach Wise had three goals to lead Berkeley Springs.

Brandon McCumbee and Tyler Lineburg each had an assist and Caleb Murray had five saves for the Indians (4-1-1).


Boonsboro 10, South 1

BOONSBORO — Ashlyn Hawbaker had four goals and an assist and Abby Duncan had a hat trick to lead Boonsboro to an MVAL Antietam victory over South Hagerstown.

Rachel Holmes had a goal and three assists, Amber Smith had a goal and an assist and Leah Cadigan had a goal for the Warriors (2-2, 1-0). Tricia Hawkins, Emily Cronise and Morgan Angle each had an assist for Boonsboro.

The Rebels fell to 0-4 (0-1).

Williamsport 4, Catoctin 0

THURMONT, Md. — Lizzie Willis had a goal and an assist as Williamsport shut out Catoctin in the MVAL Antietam.


Ashley Likely, Regan Stout and Casey Arnone each had a goal and Lauren Johnson had an assist for the Wildcats (3-1, 1-0).
