Name: Ginger

Age: 1 year old

Color: Chocolate

Breed: English pointer/Labrador retriever/Whippet mix

ID: A12878955

This playful girl has had a hard time, but it never stops her from being the life of the party.

She came to the Humane Society of Washington County several months ago with a shattered leg.

After weeks in a cast, it looked like her leg just wasn't going to be the same. She has all four legs but does not always use her front left one.

Her injury does not stop her from playing and running fast, if not faster than most dogs. She is a happy dog despite all she has been through. Ginger is an entertaining, fun- loving dog full of potential.

Ginger and many other animals are available for adoption at The Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Animal visitation begins at 10 a.m. daily. Closed on Sunday.
