Westminster 3, South Hagerstown 0

WESTMINSTER, Md. — South Hagerstown dropped its season opener Thursday, falling 25-17, 25-22, 25-23 to Westminster.

Hayley Freeman had 15 service points, six digs and three kills for the Rebels, while Victoria Pearl had six service points, five assists and two kills and Ashlyn Hinkle had nine digs.

JV: South, 2-1.

Hancock 3, Paw Paw 0

PAW PAW, W.Va. — Jessica Martin had five aces and three kills, and Lyndsay Himes had three aces and five kills in Hancock’s 25-15, 25-15, 25-14 win over Paw Paw.

Sara Wagner had three aces and Elizabeth Teeter had five kills for the Panthers (1-1).

JV: Hancock, 2-1.

Everett 3, Southern Fulton 0

EVERETT, Pa. — Everett swept Southern Fulton 25-15, 25-21, 25-10.

Abby Hawkins had seven assists, Whitney Ritz had two kills, Jenna Palmer had six digs and two kills and Melanie Deneen had seven digs for Southern Fulton (0-2).

Shalom 3, CVCS 0

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Natasha Gibble had 13 kills, 13 assists, 11 digs, and three aces to lead Shalom Christian in its 25-18, 25-15, 25-13 sweep of Cumberland Valley Christian School.

Ashlyn Blank had eight kills and 12 digs, Kristen Blank had 11 assists and Steph Bricker had 10 service points for the Flames.

JV: Shalom, 2-0.

Berkeley Springs 3, Keyser 0

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Erin Close had 11 service points and six digs and Toni Davidson had 13 service points and six kills to lead Berkeley Springs in its 25-16, 25-8, 25-18 sweep of Keyser.

Courtney Miller had eight service points, Casey Solomon had eight kills and seven digs and Brooklyn McCusker had 17 assists for Berkeley Springs.

JV: Keyser, 2-1.

McConnellsburg 3, Northern Bedford 0

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — Emily Watkins had five aces and 14 kills for McConnellsburg in its season-opening 25-4, 25-22, 25-14 sweep of Northern Bedford.

Rikki Green had five kills and Gabrielle Danner had 15 assists for the Spartans (1-0).
