Anna Luvinia “Beanie” Smothers, 84, of Brunswick, Md., died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. The service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Knoxville, Md. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
