First Hose Co. of Boonsboro will host a remembrance parade on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The parade is in memory of fire, rescue and law-enforcement officials who lost their lives on 9/11.

The fire company will also honor all veterans for their service to our country.

Marching units will line up on the school grounds at 5:30 p.m. All fire, rescue and ambulance companies, military and veteran units, military personnel and other interested citizens are welcome to participate.

Also in the parade will be the Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Firetruck, a unit crossing the country to raise awareness for breast cancer research and support of survivors.

The pink truck will end the parade at the fire company on Potomac Street where all are invited to come and sign the truck or leave a message in memory or of hope.
