Hagerstown man flown to hospital after crash in Franklin County

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A Maryland man was flown to York (Pa.) Hospital following a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Old Forge Road in Quincy Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Karl Kirkpatrick, 25, of Hagerstown, was driving a 2008 Jeep Patriot north at 1:47 p.m. when it crossed the center line and struck a1995 Ford F-150 driven by Cynthia E. Rock, 35, of Fayetteville, Pa., police said.

Kirkpatrick was listed in satisfactory condition Friday morning at York Hospital, a spokesman for the hospital said. Rock and her passenger were uninjured, police said.
