The seven members of the Washington County Board of Education are elected to four-year terms. School Board business meetings are held twice each month on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Central Office auditorium at 820 Commonwealth Ave. in Hagerstown.
The public is invited to the meetings that are tentatively scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month and 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings typically last two to three hours. The meetings are televised on Antietam Cable Channel 99 and can be viewed online as live streaming video when meetings are scheduled.
