GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A Greencastle teenager suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning in a crash on Interstate 81 near Exit 5, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

The 17-year-old girl was transported to York (Pa.) Hospital, police said.

Police, who did not identify the teenager, said she was driving a 2008 Ford pickup truck south on Interstate 81 when one of the vehicle's rear tires blew out.

The girl lost control of the vehicle, which crossed over the left lane, went into the median and rolled over after hitting an embankment.
