Donna Reed Jennings, 54, of Hagerstown, passed away on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born Dec. 9, 1956 in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of Beatrice (Mullenix) Reed Myers and the late Thurman Marshall Reed.

Donna attended St. Paul's Evangelical Free Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

She had worked as the head cashier at Lowe's.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, John Christopher Jennings; a daughter, Katrina Gatrell and husband, Eddie, of Hagerstown; a son, Sean Hockensmith and companion, Holly, of Waynesboro; four sisters, Deborah Crim and husband, Richard, of Hagerstown, Barbara Diseati and husband, Jeff, of Chewsville, Jenny Kretzer and husband, Steve Sr., of Smithsburg, and Melissa Lambdin and husband, Doug, of Catonsville, Md.; four brothers, Thurman Reed Jr. and wife, Debra, of Scottsdale, Va., Bruce Reed of Ponta Vera Beach, Fla., Phillip Reed and wife, Tina, also of Ponta Vera Beach, and William Reed and wife, Lisa, of Smithsburg; a brother-in-law, Steven Lucida, and wife, Nichole, of Beaver Creek, Colo.; three grandsons, Damion Normand, Ryan Gatrell and Chase Gatrell, all of Hagerstown; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a stepfather, William Myers; and a sister-in-law, Mary Stanphies.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Terry Culler officiating.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

She was well loved and will be missed by all.
