CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Borough of Chambersburg will soon be featured on national television, highlighting what it’s like to live, work and play in the heart of Franklin County.
The town will be featured on “Insights with Terry Bradshaw,” which airs nationally on the Fox Business Network, according to a news release from the Franklin County Visitors Bureau.
According to the show’s website, “‘Insights takes viewers around the world with fascinating stories of business owners, inventors, doctors, engineers and everyday individuals who are eager to share the latest developments in their respective fields.”
Vice President of Production Jim Nicholas called this portion of South Central Pennsylvania a “hidden gem.”
“Franklin County was chosen as one of the best and smartest areas for growth, for its existing ‘shovel-ready’ locations and its high quality of life, among other things,” Nicholas said.
“Franklin County is a great vacation destination, complete with charming downtowns and a variety of cultural and recreational opportunities,” he said in the release.
Along with discussing the advantages of development in Chambersburg, the five-minute “Insights” segment will also focus on the value of tourism in Franklin County. Other featured images from the area will include historical sites, recreational opportunities and institutions of higher education, according to the release.
A number of the county’s residents were interviewed for the piece, which was filmed on location earlier this month.
Presented to more than 90 million households in the United States, the episode of “Insights with Terry Bradshaw” featuring Chambersburg is expected to air in November.
