U.S. Army's James River Ramblers to perform Wednesday at HCC

HAGERSTOWN — The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the James River Ramblers, one of the U.S. Army TRADOC Band ensembles, as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Concert Series on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

The band performs a variety of musical styles and encompasses more than nine ensembles, including a concert band, marching band, woodwind quartet, Dixieland band, rock band and jazz band.

This year’s performance at HCC will feature the seven-piece ensemble that performs jazz music in the New Orleans-style tradition.

Co-sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the concert is free and open to the public.
