Did you know?

Did you know that Big Pool at one time had an ice house bigger than the present day Clear Spring High School? Before the days of refrigeration, teams of men and horses would cut chunks of ice off Big Pool and store them under sawdust (insulation). It would then be loaded onto train cars and shipped out.
