James F. Forrest, 70

James Finley Forrest, 70, passed away Aug. 24, 2011, at DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk, Va.

A native of Summit Hill, Pa., he retired as a quality-control director with Mack Trucks Inc. in Hagerstown, Md., after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church and the Bayside Men's Group.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Forrest; two daughters, Sharon Forrest and Linda Horst, both of Baltimore, Md.; a son, Mark J. Forrest of Hagerstown; a brother, Robert Forrest and wife, Jane, of Rehoboth, Del.; nine grandchildren; a stepson, Terry K. Sword of Hagerstown; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Sword of Barboursville, Va.; and his beloved Scottish terrier, Molly.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Bayside Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Rollins officiating.
