Spudfest
Potatoes planted in the spring will be harvested by horse-drawn plow. Prizes will be awarded to children by age groups for finding the largest and smallest potatoes. Other activities include Master Gardeners in the four-square garden and an outdoor artisan bread-baking demo using a wood-fired oven. Old-time school day
For the 175th anniversary of Old Brown’s Mill School, there will be a re-enactment of a school day for children and adults including singing, debating, lunch, penmanship and spelling bee. 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine.
