Franklin County students receive scholarships from Shippensburg U.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — The following students received scholarships to attend Shippensburg University:

Kelsey M. Ebersole, daughter of Greg and Lori Ebersole of Greencastle, Pa., received the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors Salutatorian Scholarship. She is a 2011 graduate of Shalom Christian Academy in Chambersburg, Pa., and plans to major in elementary education pre-K-4.

Jennifer Fisher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Fisher of Greencastle, received the Shippensburg University Foundation Scholarship. She is a 2011 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in biology and was accepted into the university’s honors program.

Anissa Freeman of Waynesboro, Pa., received the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors Valedictorian Scholarship. She is a 2011 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School and plans to major in English.

Ali Stouffer, daughter of Brian and Stephanie Stouffer of Greencastle, received the Highmark Scholarship. She is a 2011 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim  High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in exercise science.
