Auditions: 'Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music'

THURMONT, Md. —
 Thurmont Thespians will hold open auditions for all roles in a five-character comedy "Nice People Dancing To Good Country Music" by Lee Blessing.  

Director Max Beaver will be looking for one woman in her 20s to early 30s who can do an upper Midwest accent, one woman in her late 30s to 40s who can do a credible Southern accent, one man in his 20s to 30s and one man in his 30s to 40s, both of whom can do a credible Southern accents and one young boy between the ages of 13 and 15. No dancing experience is needed.

Auditions will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, and Monday, Aug. 29, at the St. John's Lutheran Church Social Hall, 13 N. Church St. (next to the Guardian Hose Firehouse on Md. 550) Thurmont. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
