Police looking black male in connection with stabbing at Sheetz

A person was stabbed Friday night in the parking lot of Sheetz at 700 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown, according to a Hagerstown Police Department news release.

Hagerstown police officers were dispatched to Meritus Medical Center at 11:36 p.m., where the victim was taken shortly after the stabbing, Sgt. John Lehman said.

The victim, whose name wasn't released, was in stable condition, Lehman said.

Police are looking for a black male in connection with the stabbing, Lehman said. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has braided hair, Lehman said.
