HALFWAY — A woman was seriously cut on her wrist when she fell on a slippery floor in a home on Mount Williams Circle Monday afternoon, according to a spokeswoman for The Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway.
The woman was using a mop-like device when she slipped on the floor at about 3:50 p.m., the spokeswoman said.
The woman fell into a chair and her arm hit a food processor blade on the chair, the spokeswoman said.
The woman is going to be fine, although there was discussion about sending her to a facility that specializes in hand injuries, the spokeswoman said.
