No one hurt in two-vehicle crash on Downsville Pike at Halfway Blvd.

Two vehicles were involved in a collision Monday morning at the intersection of Downsville Pike (Md. 632) and Halfway Boulevard.

Nobody was injured, according to Trooper D. Matthews of the Maryland State Police.

The accident happened when a van collided with the back of a car that was stopped on Downsville Pike at the intersection with Halfway Boulevard, Matthews said.

Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. No lanes were closed as a result of the accident.

Police responded to the accident around 7:23 a.m. Monday, a supervisor for Washington County Emergency Services said.  They cleared the scene by 7:50 a.m.
