Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, Pastor Rachel Black will lead the 10 a.m. service Sunday on the topic "Crumbs for a Canaanite." Mary Diehl will be the worship leader. Sunday school is at 9 a.m.

Christ's Reformed Church UCC, the Rev. Gregg R. Meserole, senior minister, will speak at the 9:30 a.m. worship Sunday. The topic will be "A Prayer to Remember." Dave and Kelly Bedard will be liturgists. Meserole will give the children's message. Church school will resume in September.

Christ Reformed Church, UCC, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Ronald Grubb will preach on the topic "Forgiveness: An Opportunity to be Godly" at the 11 a.m. communion service.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will preach Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be "Tears of Healing."

Christian Science Society, the topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. will be "Soul." Sunday school for those up to age 20 meets at 10:30 a.m. during worship. First and third Wednesdays, services at 7:30 p.m. at The Reading Room, which is open one hour before and after services.

Concordia Lutheran Church, the Rev. Emil Gretarsson will lead the 8:15 a.m. noncommunion service and 10:45 a.m. communion services Sunday. The topic will be "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover." Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Renee L. Mackey will give the message "Clean Clear Through" at the 10 a.m. service Sunday.

Cutting Edge Ministries, Pastor Harvey Swanger will speak on the topic "Demonic Kings, part III" at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. At 9:30 a.m., the Discipleship class meets. Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Tim Roosenberg will speak at the 11 a.m. service today on "Forgiven and Renewed." Sabbath school at 9:30 a.m. Islam and Christianity in Prophecy will be Roosenberg's topic at 6 p.m. today.

Harmony United Methodist Church, Falling Waters, W.Va., Pastor Terri Cofiell's sermon topic will be "Gifts of the Spirit: Tongues and Spirits" at the 9 a.m. traditional service and 11:15 a.m. contemporary service Sunday.

John Wesley¿ United Methodist Church, the Rev. Richard Jewell will lead the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday on the topic "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus." Sunday school for adults is at 9 a.m. Children's Church meets at 10 a.m.

Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Clear Spring, there will be no service Sunday due to the annual parish picnic at 11 a.m. at Clear Spring American Legion Picnic Pavilion. The picnic will include a hymn sing, meal and games.

Ringgold Church of Christ, Senior minister Don Conley's message will be "Jonah's Anger" in the Jonah sermon series, at the 8, 9:20 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:20 and 11 a.m.

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Williamsport, the Rev. Mark Sandell will preach at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services on the topic "The Least of These." Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Pastor Mike Henning will deliver the message "What Defines Clean and Unclean?" at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

St. James Brethren Church, Pastor Brian Moore will speak at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services Sunday on the topic "For the Church ... Through the Church ... In the Church." Sunday school at 9:15 a.m.

St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Ann Boyd will preach Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services on the topic "Being in Unexpected Places." Florence Grant and Joe Rose will provide music at the second service. The first service will be at the church and the second service will be at St. James School followed by a picnic. Weekly services of healing and communion are at 12:10 p.m. Thursdays in the chapel.

St. John's Lutheran Church, Pastor Edward Heim will lead the 8 and 11 a.m. services. His topic will be "Finding Our Belonging." 9Alive service in the courtyard begins at 9:30 a.m. with teaching time with Heim and music by the New Spirit Praise Band.
