Marvin Allen “Bob” Warrenfeltz, of Mount Airy, Md., died Thursday, July 28, 2011.

He was born in Fairplay, Md., to Elta L. (Showman) Warrenfeltz and Jacob O. Warrenfeltz, on May 26, 1932.

He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Wolfe, and husband, Harold, of New Market, Md.; one son, Dennis, and wife, Debbie, of Virginia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minerva Trimmer of Greencastle, Pa., and Barbara Shipe and husband, Larry, of Hagerstown; two brothers, George and wife, Barbara, and Glenn, all of Hagerstown; five nephews; and one niece.

He is also survived by his second wife, Patricia; her daughters, Kathleen and husband, Gary Hertzberg, and Susan and husband, Ron Martin; and three stepgrandchildren, all of Walkersville, Md.

Bob graduated from Hagerstown High School with the Class of 1951.

He was employed by J.J. Newberry, Bohman & Warne and the Western Maryland Railroad, prior to moving to Montgomery County, Md., where he established Warrenfeltz Refrigeration Co., which he successfully managed from 1961 to 1975. He was employed by World Bank, Frederick County Public Schools and Warner Refrigeration, prior to retirement in 2007.

He enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay, was an avid football fan and he loved gardening. Bob leaves behind a legacy of unequaled generosity and an ever-extended helping hand to family and friends. His bigger-than-life presence in our family will be sorely missed. His memory will be lovingly cherished.

Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Stan Steele at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD 21740, on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at 11 a.m.
