HAGERSTOWN — The eastbound lane of West Antietam Street is closed to through traffic between Burhans Boulevard and Walnut Street.
It has been closed since 7 a.m. Monday.
Work crews from Henson and Son are repairing utility trenches in the pavement of the street on that block, according to the City of Hagerstown. The work involves excavation in the eastbound lane to repair gas main trenches.
Detours have been set up for eastbound traffic on West Antietam Street approaching the work zone. Westbound traffic can still pass through the area, however.
Closure is expected to remain in effect until Friday, Aug. 19, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
