'Happy Days' on stage at HCC

August 03, 2011

Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform their summer show, “Happy Days — A New Musical,” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

Based on the hit television sitcom, “Happy Days,” starring Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Scott Baio and Erin Moran, the musical comedy tells the story of the Happy Days gang’s determination to save the local hangout, Arnold’s, from demolition by holding a dance contest and wrestling match. Written by “Happy Days” creator Garry Marshall, the show first began touring in 2008.

Show times are 8 p.m. each night. General admission costs $10, but HCC students, staff and faculty can attend for free with a valid ID. Tickets are available at the door but can also be purchased in advance at the HCC Bookstore by calling 301-790-2800, ext. 271.

In the event of rain or excessive heat, shows will be held in the Classroom Building Auditorium, CLR-111.
