National Can-It-Forward Day is Aug. 13

National Can-It-Forward Day is Saturday, Aug. 13. Participants are asked to use local produce, and a tested recipes. Visit the National Center for Home Food Preservation's website at www.uga.edu/nchfp for resources, or for questions, contact Lynn Little at LLittle@umd.edu or call 301-791-1504.

Participants can also sign up at www.freshpreserving.com/community/events/can-it-forward.aspx to learn more and to commit to participate in National Can-It-Forward Day. Orders placed by Thursday, Aug. 4, should arrive by Aug. 13.
