One person injured in scooter accident in Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT — One person was injured Friday morning in a scooter accident on Tammany Lane in Williamsport, Deputy Socks of the Washington County Sheriff's Department said.

An 18-year-old was driving the scooter, which skidded after making a sharp turn, according to Socks.

A passenger on the scooter was not injured.

The driver was taken to Meritus Medical Center with minor injuries.
