WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Advanced Chiropractic, Foot & Ankle Care of Waynesboro recently provided free evaluations and treatment recommendations for athletes of the Pennsylvania Special Olympics Summer Games held June 9 to 11 at Penn State University in State College.

The event brought together more than 2,000 athletes and 750 coaches from across the state.

Dr. Stephen Bui and Dr. May Cao are part of the Fit Feet initiative. Fit Feet doctors and support staff conducted more than 200 evaluations and consultations during the competition.

Many athletes were given heat molded inserts to better support and stabilize their feet. Many lower extremity conditions including flat feet, lower leg misalignments, bunions, hammertoes, Achilles tendon disorders and sports overuse syndromes were addressed. The athletes were also given recommendations and referrals.
